DESCRIPTION: This rare Napoleon III Bonheure de Jour, translated to mean Happiness Of The Day, is built with the finest pear wood, inlaid with brass elements, and is adorned with very important ornamentation of gilded bronzes with multiple gold ingot molds, falls, hooves and rosettes. Mounted in the center of each of the two doors, is a beautiful hand-painted Sevres porcelain medallion, depicting gallant and romantic scenes. The interior shelf of this cabinet is rosewood, with a central drawer and two small drawers. A breath-taking piece!
